Fluffy, savory, and ridiculously easy to make, this ranch whipped cream turns heavy cream and ranch seasoning into an airy, cloud-like spread for toast, crackers, vegetables, and more. Made with Hello, Ranch, it has all the herby, garlicky flavor of homemade ranch in an unexpectedly light and luxurious form.
If you’ve never made savory whipped cream before, friend - consider this your sign.

What Is Ranch Whipped Cream?
Ranch whipped cream is exactly what it sounds like: heavy whipping cream seasoned with ranch and whipped until soft and billowy. Instead of sugar and vanilla, the cream gets its flavor from our custom blend of savory herbs, garlic, onion, superfoods, and seasonings. Plus, our Hello, Ranch has the added benefits of creamy yogurt and milk, which both contribute to an extra creamy whip and a more stabilized cream in the end. It won't weep or split on you and will keep nicely in the fridge for a few days. A true win-win!
The result lands somewhere between a whipped butter, a ranch dip, and a savory whipped cream. It’s rich but surprisingly light, making it particularly good when shellacked thickly over toast or served on a platter with crunchy vegetables for dipping.
And because Dressy's Hello, Ranch already contains the herbs and seasonings you need for great ranch flavor, there’s very little measuring involved (like, almost none).
Why You’ll Love It
This is one of those recipes that feels far fancier than the amount of work required to make it. Truly greater than the sum of its parts, this one.
You only need two main ingredients, it comes together in minutes, and you can make it ahead and keep it chilled until you’re ready to serve. It also happens to look gorgeous piled onto a plate and surrounded by radishes, cucumbers, carrots, crackers, or good bread.
But most importantly? It’s really delicious.

How to Make Ranch Whipped Cream
Add the cold heavy whipping cream to a mixing bowl. Sprinkle in our Dressy Hello, Ranch and whip with an electric mixer until the cream thickens and holds soft to medium peaks.
Taste and add additional Hello Ranch if you’d like a stronger ranch flavor.
Spoon the whipped cream onto a serving plate or shallow bowl and pile it high, leaving plenty of swoops and swirls. Serve immediately with toast and vegetables, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

How to Serve Savory Ranch Whipped Cream
Our favorite way to serve this is almost comically simple: a big pile of ranch whipped cream, really good toast, and crisp radishes.
The peppery crunch of the radishes against the cool, creamy ranch is especially good, and the whole thing makes a lovely appetizer or snack without requiring much actual cooking.
For a larger crudité platter, surround the ranch whipped cream with whatever vegetables look best—cucumbers, carrots, celery, snap peas, endive, bell peppers, or cherry tomatoes all work beautifully.
You can also spread it directly onto toast and top it with sliced vegetables, fresh herbs, cracked black pepper, or a drizzle of olive oil.
A New Way to Use Ranch
We obviously love ranch dressing around here. But one of our favorite things about Hello, Ranch is that it doesn’t have to become dressing at all.
Because the ranch flavor lives in the mix, you can take it in all sorts of directions: stir it into dips, season vegetables and potatoes, add it to butter, sprinkle it over popcorn ... or, in this case, whip it straight into cream.
Homemade ranch shouldn’t have just one job, right? Right.

Can I Make Ranch Whipped Cream Ahead of Time?
Yes. Ranch whipped cream can be made ahead and stored covered in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it.
For the fluffiest texture, we like it best freshly whipped or made just a few hours ahead. If it settles slightly in the refrigerator, give it a quick stir before serving.
Tips for the Best Ranch Whipped Cream
Start with very cold cream. Cold heavy cream whips faster and holds its shape better.
Don’t overwhip it. Stop once the cream is thick, fluffy, and able to hold soft or medium peaks. Keep going too long and you’ll start heading toward ranch butter—which, admittedly, is not the worst problem to have.
Season to taste. The amount of ranch mix you use can depend on how you’re serving it. For vegetables, you may want a little more seasoning; for toast, a lighter hand can be lovely.
Serve it cold. Keep ranch whipped cream refrigerated until you’re ready to put it on the table.
