At first glance they look like dried rose petals, ravaged by the sun and left to wither. Glowy pink in their middles and burnished darkly around their edges, a crispy watermelon radish chip has got to be of of the most beautiful snacks to ever grace our table, which is why we've selected this recipe - this un-recipe - as the very first entry into The Lookbook. This is our catalogue of favorite things, the lovely adornments and utterly delicious bites that make time around a table feel sacred and special. Designed to inspire and delight, this pretty little place is meant to give you a nice place to browse while you're here, while you're shopping The Dressing Room.
That's a huge part of our mission at Dressy - to infuse everyday kitchen rituals with items that have the special ability to elevate, to improve, and to just make things feel a little well, dressier.
Radishes and butter have long been best friends, and this is our gorgeous twist on that classic pairing. It's so simple to whip up it's barely a recipe at all, in fact.

RECIPE
- 2 - 3 watermelon radishes, thinly sliced
- Olive or avocado oil, for coating
- Salt as needed
- 8 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon of Green Goodness superfood salad dressing mix
1. In a large bowl, toss the radish slices with enough oil to lightly coat and season with salt (generously is just fine). Arrange in a shingled layer in the basket of an air fryer and cook at 325 degrees for about 12 to 13 minutes, or until crisped. This probably works best in two batches, but unlike many air fried items, the slices can actually overlap in the basket - they will shrivel up significantly and lose tons of their volume as they cook.
2. Meanwhile, stir together the butter and Green Goodness - using more or less to suit your taste.
3. Serve the butter with the crispy radishes piled up alongside, and enjoy.
